It depends upon your insurance company. My dad has a life insurance and if he dies (God forbid), we will get 2 million but if he reaches the age of 65 he'll have 6.5 million. It also depends on what age you started to have an insurance

I think the payout time depends on the case too, and what the circumstances are.
I've had a claim in with GLOBE LIFE for over 2 months now. They received the claim and the death certificate within 10 days from my father passing and they have given a handfull of excuses as to why the delay...
