Do Black Flies Pose Any Serious Threat Or Are They Just An Annoyance?
We are being inundated lately by what are referred to colloquially as black flies. I just wonder if they pose any real threat? Disease, healthwise etc.

There are many different types of flies, and to find out which you are dealing with, you can go to www.wikipedia.org, and look there, just type in the words, black fly, and it will take you right to the site. There are different' types of them in there that you can click on to identify which you are dealing with. Many can be harmful. Hope this helps, good luck.

The only dangerous flies that I know of are the Blot Fly and Horse Fly. So, just keep a swatter handy.
