Jim Morrison, front man of The Doors is buried at the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. The cemetery has come to be one of the most famous locations in Paris. Morrison died on July 3 in the year 1971. He was 27 years of age. Morrison died in his bath tub due to what is believed to be a drug overdose. However paramedics that found him stated that he had dried blood around his mouth and a sort of bruising on his chest that indicated hemorrhage due to tuberculosis. One of the Parisian doctors that examined him said that he had in fact died of a heart failure. No autopsy was conducted as there was no sign of any foul play. His body was first found by long time partner and legal wife Pamela Courson.
