The procedure of destroying abnormal body tissues by cold temperature is called cryosurgery. It is also performed for abnormal growth in cervix. After the surgery watery discharge from the vagina is normal. It can take 2-6 weeks to stop. Complete recovery after cryosurgery is after 3 months.
