What Is The Combined Gas Law?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

    When external conditions of temperature and pressure are changed, the volume of a given quantity of all gases is affected. This effect is nearly the same irrespective of the nature of the gas. So gases show a uniform behavior towards the external conditions. The gas laws describe this uniform behavior of gases. The relationships between volume of a given amount of gas and prevailing conditions of temperature and pressure are called the gases law. All these laws can be described in a single combined equation. This equation gives a combined gas law. The equation is;

    PV = nRT
