    Yes, most likely. Most states are called "employment at will" states. That means that neither the employee nor the employer are obligated to continue the employment relationship and may end it at anytime for any reason except as protected by law. Unfortunately, this means employers can decide that at anytime, you're not a "fit" with the organization, or fire you because they don't like the way you walk or talk, or the color shoes you wear, or that they just don't want to see you anymore. However, an employer is unwise and in my opinion, putting themselves at risk, if they aren't documenting the problems, conducting performance reviews, clarifying specific expectations, and/or creating an action plan for improvement along the way when an employee is having difficulty.

      YES,HE CAN ,IF HE HAS A GOOD REASON TO FIRE YOU. I AM A BOSS, AND I HAD A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO FIRE ONE OF MY EMPLOYEES.
