Microscopes are used so that the things which are not visible with the naked eyes can be observed through the microscope. However, the light microscope is relatively small and light weight as compare to the electron microscope. The magnification of light microscope is low and therefore, the image of the object is not magnified in these microscopes. Therefore, if a light microscope is used to view the structures of the cells then it would not be an appropriate option.
