Why Is A Car Shaped Like The Way It Is?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Simple, 4 wheels are safe and help you maneuver the car easily, doors on each side so you and your passengers don use same door, hood to protect engine and all vital engine parts. Windshield at angle to reduce wind resistance, windows on all sides to be able to see when your driving. And they body shaped the way it is for aerodynamics. If you had a box ,like those scions, there more wind resistance and you have to use more power to move the car, that why buses have huge engines because they're like a giant box on wheels. Plus i don't think we'll be changing designs anytime soon, we all have gotten use to the way they are designed plus the streets and everywhere we drive with them is design for the car of today
