Can Vector Be Zero?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

No not really, but if you are speaking in context of its magnitude then yes a vector can be zero but even so it still has non-zero components
the only time it can be zero is when it is being pulled between to opposite forces that cancel out each others effects

In vector system,0 is represented by a null vector with magnitude 0 and arbitrary direction.

So a zero vector means a vector with 0 magnitude & arbitrary direction.
