    The primary responsibilities of a DBA are;
    Maintain and develop iMIS database operations for the organization.
    Understand user needs and communicate with Director of IT, Executive Director and vendors (as needed) to meet and exceed those needs.
    Conduct training for staff.
    Take ownership of the data and ensure the integrity and usability of the data in regular operations.
    Customize reports.
    Stay abreast of new developments in the industry and make recommendations to enhance the system on an ongoing basis. Assist Director of IT with various web development projects such as chapter web sites, online reporting, online social networking, etc. Backup Systems Administrator.

      1-Server consolidation
      2-Centralized DBA management
      3-Transparent high availability
      4-Scalability
      5-Reduced DBA workload
