What Is The Climate In Goa?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Goa lies in the tropical zone and has warm and humid climate all round the year as it lies near the Arabian Sea. The temperature is highest in the month of May and reaches almost to 35 degree Celsius. The high temperature when coupled with humidity makes May the most intolerable time of the year. The monsoon arrives here only in the month of June and provides a much required respite to the residents of Goa. The monsoon season lasts till the month of September.

It has a short cool season also between mid-December and February. During these months the night temperature falls to approximately 20 degree Celsius and the temperature during the day is around 29 degree Celsius. If we go further inland, the temperature falls a few degrees more during nights.
