I'm Not Very Quick At Typing. How Can I Improve My Typing Skills?

There are several typing books that will help you to improve your typing skills. You can also learn yourself by studying the keyboard. The small lines that appear on the 'F' and 'J' are there to help you when typing.

Place the forefinger of your left hand on the 'F' and the forefinger of your right hand on the 'J'. Once you have done this, you will see that the other fingers on your hands correspond to the letters behind the 'F' and 'J'. You can use these fingers to keep each hand on that part of the keyboard, meaning that you use your left hand to type out letters from the left side of the keyboard and your right hand to type out letters from the right side of the keyboard.

Practice using each hand to type out letters from each side. If you do this for long enough, then you will get used to where each letter is situated on the keyboard. Once you are used to each letter's position, you will be able to type out words without even having to look at the actual keyboard. If you lose your position, then just feel for the little lines imprinted on the 'F' and 'J' and you will instantly remember where the other letter are.
