Can back child support touch my 401k retirement

 Unfortunately I believe the state can claim back child support indefinitely. Has paternity been established. If yes then undoubtedly they can make a claim on your pension. The point is that the support you would have to pay is to the State, not the child, the state pays until the father or indeed the mother can be found then reclaims.
