Yes . Are you using itunes ?. If you are then just delete itunes ,obviously save all you have to hd first. Down load winamp its free and better than itunes all you have to do is plug any ipod in and all the stuff you have on it comes up on screen or you can down load any thing from pc etc. It wont affect any other i pod you have as it doesnt sync it individually as itunes does . Also you can watch play listen to any thing you want through ipod and winamp ie films straight to tv without having to convert the formats that you down loaded them in
