Yes, this is true about the cages and the ferrets but in fact this is not a good choice to keep them ‘always’ in cages. And this is so because they do not like to live alone in solitary places because they enjoy the company of the people and homely environment. If they are kept in cages then they must be given some time to live with the people at home. If you keep them always in the cage then their walking abilities may suffer and they can even feel depression.
Because of this kind of nature some people think that they must not be kept in the cages but this thing is also a little but harmful for the owner and even for the ferret it self. This is not wise to always keep them at home because they have very curious and courageous nature and they can go at any place without any reason and this may create problems. They can even die by going into the underneath springs of the recliners and the electrical appliances. As these animals are too sharp and active, so they must be dealt wisely in a loving manner.
