What Are Your Comments On The Movie Eragon?

Eragon released and directed by Stephen Fang Meier, Eragon is based on Christopher Paolini's fantasy novel of the same name.

The movie follows the tale of a young and poor farm boy named Eragon (Edward Speleers) in the land of Analgesia which is now under the rule of the tyrant King Galbatorix (John Malkovich). Eragon chances upon a dragon's egg in the forest one night. The dragon hatchling Saphira (Voice by Rachel Weisz of the Mummy fame) chooses Eragon as her rider and both communicate only telepathically throughout the movie.

The King sends his minions to kill Eragon and Spahira as he regards them as a threat against his region. Together, they must evade the forces of the king and find their way to the wardens; an organized group of rebels opposing the evil King. They are aided in their journey by Brom (Jeremy irons).

A cross between the critically acclaimed LOTR trilogy and Dragon heart, Eragon suffers from lack of a whole some plot and script, and considering that there is a plan of an Eragon trilogy.
