I Want A Pet But My Mom Is Saying No.how Should I Convince Her?

Have patience. Talk to your mom about why. Say you will help take care of it, and, if necessary, clean up after it & do more chores around the house. Be sweet, but don't over-do it. Don't suck up too much, cause shell see right through it ; and that might even annoy [or anger] her. My last advice might come off as a little strange, but, for all my friends {[including myself!]}, tried it - and had success. Write your mom a letter. Reasons why you DESERVE a pet, and why you want it. But mostly, have patience. & You have to show her you are responsible enough to have one. If she says no at first, she may just be gauging your response. DONT whine or complain. {[OR CRY!]} --EVER! It will only only her, and you lose all hope of having a pet. :] Patience, child, patience.

Insure her that you will take full responsibility for it, that you will clean up after it make sure it has enough exercise etc dep on what pet you would like, perhaps offer to contribute to the cost of the up keep with it as well.

Is your mom an animal lover? If yes, try asking for the kind of animal that she likes the most, and say she can help pick it out. If she does not like animals at all, I think you have a very slim chance of getting one. But, I agree with BREH, patience is the best way. Bugging her about it will only make her want a pet less. Good luck, and if you don't get a pet, you can look forward to turning 18, moving out, and getting whatever pet you want!
