Why Don't Jehovah Witness's Want To Not Be Involved With People That Do Not Believe The Way They Do?
Actions speak louder than words!

The Jehovah's Witnesses are not a mainstream christian denomination and are regarded as a sect, rather than a part of the christian church. Some of the Jehovah's witnesses I have met do not regard themselves as christians either and have been very dismissive of Christianity.
They also have many characteristics of a cult. They are only allowed to use the Authorised Version of the Bible and one particular Greek Interlinear. They are only supposed to study the Bible using a handbook which directs them to particular verses or passages and tells them how they are to interpret it.
The main dispute they have with mainstream christianity is over the doctrine of the Trinity. They do not accept that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead, or that the Holy Spirit is a person and the third person of the Godhead. Now, none of us can fully comprehend the idea of the Trinity because we do not personally experience that state of being, but we can accept that that is the nature of God, who after all is far above us in all things, without demanding that we have to be able to comprehend it in order to believe.
They are very evangelistic and are normally happy to associate with people as long as they think they may be able to persuade to them to join the Jehovah's Witnesses. I believe that their unwillingness to associate too closely with mainstream christians is based on the leaders fearing that they will start to read the Bible without the direction of the handbook, as mainstream christians do. Leaders have, in the past, stated that JW's who start to read the Bible except through the lens of the handbook tend to come to believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. This is because the doctrine of the Trinity is clearly implied in the Bible, though it is not explicitly stated. Consequently, to keep their people believing the accepted teachings of the movement, they have to prevent them from reading the Bible for themselves, and also try to keep them away from christians who could explain to them how and why the doctrine of the Trinity is clearly laid out in the Bible.

My children and my husband and I have been hurt so deeply by the goverment,I want the goverment to respect Daniel's choice,"So many soldiers have given their life for our freedom".
They dont want to be involved with people that dont believe the same thing is because they believe it is bad association ... My aunt is a jehovah witness and she only keeps to her congregation and family..
