What Are All The Breeds Of Rabbits?
Answers
Hi there, There are around 35 breeds of rabbit ranging from the familiar 'lop-eared' rabbit to the rather less well know and more exotic looking 'swiss fox'. Colours vary greatly and buld can differ with some rabbits resembling hares, some tiny cotten-tail 'toy-like creatures and some huge plump docile beasts. Fur ranges from short and firm to long snd soft requiering much time and effort to maintain.
Many rabbits are unsuitable and unavailable as pets (in the UK especially) but the most popular breeds are the 'english', 'dutch', 'lop-eared' and in some parts the 'californian'.
Hope that helps.
