Which Is Best Lcd Or Plasma?

LCD or DLP are the best by far (plasma has way too many bugs and is no good for gaming) I have the Sony 42" LCD Bravia and it is so totally awesome! The picture is so clear and both DVD and Blue-ray are mindblowingly A-1 quality on the screen;) I also have PS3 and nintendo game cube hooked up to it and the gaming experience is truly awesome (Guitar hero and Rockband are so totally freaking awesome) on this screen! I can't say enough about this TV, but there are also some other excellent brands/sizes/screens out there like the Hitachi 65" DLP is top of the line quality and the ultimate gaming experience (but up there in price a bit) and I haven't the room for it right now...lol...

It really depends. The plasma picture and lack of blind spots are a couple of advantages it possess over the LCD. The LCD will have blind spots at certain angles of view as they require a direct line of sight or there will be a shadowing and loss of clarity and vision. The LC D's may be perhaps somewhat less finicky than a plasma, it is still a cheap cousin. I have a Philip's Plasma and have for several trouble-free years. The proper maintenance of the liquid Plasma Screen is essential with such procedures and disconnecting the power cable prior to cleaning and the non-use of cleaning agents as they can affect the display, this is also relevant to a LCD. The Plasma has a clarity and perception levels that by far out perform the best LCD that I have ever seen to date. Granted my plasma is set-up in the Plasma perfect room without any direct sun-light. The picture is almost as if it is an extension of the room itself giving a 3-D effect that anyone that has viewed it agrees that the picture is by far superior. Watch Sin City on this set and you will think you are in the movie.
