Of course, seeing any aspect of the world through the Internet, is a pretty poor way of living life and seeing the most wonderful and greatest paintings of the world from the comfort of a computer is like trying to eat a photograph of a meal.  There are many good websites that contain photographs of great art work.  However, I would suggest that you save up and go and see this work for yourself, nothing compares to the jaw dropping sight of some of this art work for real.  The computer simply cannot compare with this.  However, try the following on for size:

Do you have access to a local library?  There are usually good collections of art related books in most libraries.  If you are interested in a particular artist I am sure that the library would source a book for you.  Personally I find it much more satisfying to study a beautiful book than look at pictures reproduced at 72dpi on a computer screen. Printed colours can't be exact of course but you will get a better representation of the colours used by artists and you will see more detail.
