               The Hostage is one of the finest works of W. E. B. Griffin. He is best known for his skills about writing and story telling. He has written novels like the *M*A*S*H series, the Badge of Honour Series, the Honour Bound Series, The Brotherhood of War, the Corps and Men at Work. He has received loads of appreciation for his works. His novels are published in ten languages.

               The Hostage is a book from one of his latest series of novels, The President Agent.  Charles Castillo is the man chosen by the President to perform investigation discreetly. He is a major from US Army Special Force. In Argentina, kidnapping of American diplomat's wife has taken place. Her husband was murdered in her presence. Her children are next on the target. She has been warned to give out information of her brother who seems to know about the ongoing scandal of food and oil between UN/Iraq. Castillo has to save the diplomat's wife and her children.
