 The name Stalin means 'man of steel' or 'steel one'. Stalin was a political leader of Soviet in Union. This name 'Stalin' really suits this person. Looking at the life history of this person and the measures he adopted to make people adopt his policies shows a perfect projection of this name. Joseph Stalin was considered to be ruthless and very ambitious. This was not his origin al name. His original name was Joseph Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili. He himself adopted this name.

The name 'Stalin' is also given to places. A mountain in Tajikistan was initially named Stalin peak. Today, it is called Ismail Samani Peak. There is a city in Bulgaria by the name Stalin. M.K. Stalin is an Indian politician.
