Here are two options
a) black directly connected to the negative ( - ) of the battery
red directly connected to the positive ( + ) of the battery
yellow these is where you insert the switch
if these will not work, try
b) black directly connected to the negative ( - ) of the battery
red these is where you insert the switch from the positive ( + ) of the battery
yellow keep these connected to positive ( might be used for memory )
