When The Daily Mirror Newspaper Was First Published?

    The Daily Mirror was first published on 2nd of November, 1903. It was founded by Alfred Harmsworth. It was decided that the Daily Mirror was to be a newspaper by women for women. The initial launch of the newspaper was a big flop. Then in 1904 the Daily Mirror decided to transform into a pictorial paper. Alfred Harmsworth terminated the contract of all the female journalists. He later appointed Hamilton Fyfe as the editor.  

    The current editor of the Daily Mirror is Richard Wallace. The current owner of the Daily Mirror is Trinity Mirror. The headquarters of the Daily Mirror is located at the One Canada Square, London.

    During the earlier years Daily Mirror was just known as the Mirror. The Daily Mirror slowly gained a lot of support, by the 1939 it started selling more than 1.4 million copies a day.
