Solid 3 Subsistence is the title of a very famous and highly recognized stealth based game. This game was directed by Hideo Kojima. The games actual title is Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater. This game is the entire prequel to all of the Metal Gear series. The game was well received by the public selling around 4 million copies world wide.
The game is set during the Cold War Era in Russia, the game shifts away from the traditional futuristic Metal Gear Settings to the more realistic settings. Snake Eater is set in 1960s soviet jungle; however the main focus of the game remains on stealth and enemy infiltration.
The game play of Snake Eater is the same as the previous Metal Gear instalments. Metal Gear 3 Subsistence is only available on the Play Station 2 Platform; it's a single DVD disc. For Die Hard Metal Gear fans this game is a worth and must buy.
