The lodge that Archie Bunker, the character, portrayed on The American TV sitcom "All in the Family,"was supposed to belong to, was the lodge of masons.
Many people in history have been rumored to belong to this society, namely Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, D. Chaney, Martin Luther King, Leonardo di Caprio and Billy Graham among others.
Sometimes this label is given them to account for their success
Archie, who worked on the docks, drove a taxi in his spare time, and did nothing to hide his view of the world.
Perhaps it was his purchasing of his favorite local bar, and calling it Archie Bunker's place, that branded him as a connected person the most.
The show aired from 1971 to 1979 and was a popular sitcom in America.
