It really depends on what needs to be removed to figure out what tools are needed. I suggest going to your library and looking in the reference section at the motor or Chilton manual and see what steps they give on changing the water pump. Then look at each part on the truck to see what you will need to take it off.

In general, a ratchet with sockets/extensions/swivels, box/open wrenches, a scraper and wire brush (to remove the old gasket and clean up the bolts). There are probably other tools you will need as well but this may get you started.
