First of all, do not EVER keep a beta in a flower vase! Beta live much healthier lives in a filtered fish tank with a heater and a pump. A 2 gallon tank is plenty big enough for ONE beta. Secondly, of course there is not enough space here to give you ALL the information you need about betas. Try the many good websights out there on beta fish keeping to get educated on this fish species BEFORE you buy the fish. Good luck to you.
