Tuileries Palace was known as the French royal residence. It was neighboring to the famous Louvre in Paris. The French royal residence named Tuileries Palace was devastated by arson in the year of 1871.

Tuileries Palace, the actual palace was specially made by Catherine de Medicis. Philibert Delorme (1515-1570) was the very first man who started to begin the royal palace. After Delorme it was severally altered as well as it was toted up by numerous characters for the next two hundred years. In that time it was famous in the name of Tuileries Gardens. Jean Bullant (1520-1578), Jacques du Cerceau (1520-1585) and Louis Le Vau (1612-1670) were the few among the crowd who altered and made several additions in respect of the royal residence.

Andre Le Notre redesigned the royal palace in the year of 1664. The Tuileries Garden was changed its title to Tuileries Palace in that time as well. Andre's design was too good for the palace in the history of that. In his design, he completed the central walkway away from the gardens and it was out to the countryside to the hilltop west of the royal palace. Arc de Triomphe is now stood in the place of Hilltop west.
