Where On The Brother VX-1120 Sewing Machine Is The Shuttle Hook Shaft And Setscrews?

My sewing machine will not pull up the bobbin thread and I think it is out of timing. I bought a book on the subject but I cannot find the setscrews on the hookshaft of the 'Brother VX1120'.
