Does Anyone Know What This Is? Or Why This Happens?

I've heard of girls that are so close as being best friends for a long time, and when they get their periods, they'll end up eventually getting them at the same time, going through PMS, cramping pains, backaches, etc -- together.  I  do believe completely in ESP (extra-sensory perception), where the ideas and thoughts of your brainwaves can be picked up by someone who is extremely tuned in to this phenomenon, and through this, can share your pain, even to the point they feel it physically.  Kind of like when you're thinking of a person you're really close to, and you realize your head hurts, and that person suddenly phones you and tells you that their head hurts!  My daughter and I have this kind of "brain connection", and I have had friends in the past that were able to experience the same thing.
