If you had a career in IT with a council, and its OK, you are 50yrs, but always had a bug to act , would you say its foolish to go for college cert. ...at my age does it sound reasonable? I would be totally committed, its the other things finance and family that concern me

If you have the will-power to do at this age, then go for it. If you feel that you can do it as well then you don't need to worry about the finances or your family. There are a lot of options waiting for you. Good luck.

Hi, there is no age limit for going back to school. If this is something you want to do, than do it. I would start off with a few credits and then work up to more, later. Do not over load yourself with a lot of credits at first. Many people start new careers after fifty and some even become very successful. I admire you for starting a new chapter in your life; many people give up their dreams after fifty. Take Care!
