Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    As with the square of any other product, the result is the product of the squares.
      (3i√6)^2 = (3^2)(i^2)((√6)^2) = 9*6*i^2 = 54i^2
    Of course you know that
      i = √(-1), so i^2 = -1
    Then
      54i^2 = -54
    (3i√6)^2 = -54
