How To Find The Area Of A Circle To The Nearest Whole Number?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The circumference of a circle is  C=Pi r^2. Pi is = to approx 3.14 so multiply 3 times the square of the radius and you'll get the area of a circle as a whole number. Since you are trying to find the circumference in your head, I do not recommend using 22/7 for the value of pi. Unless the radius is a multiple of 7.
