How do you go about making yogurt at home for home consumption?

Milk 1 gallon you can use 2% or skim milk
Plain yogurt at room temperature 1 cup
Boil milk and then cool enough until Luke warm (about 110 degrees F).
Spread the yogurt into the bowl in which you want to make the yogurt. After that, pour the luke warm milk into the bowl. Stir it gently. Try not to integrate too much air. If too much air is incorporated in, the yogurt will grow slowly. After that, to maintain the temperature cover the bowl with a couple of towels from top and bottom.
Keep the bowl covered for 3-4 hours at room temperature. During this period do not mix the yogurt. Before serving refrigerate for 8 hours and for storage keep it in refrigerator. You can use it for 7 to 15 days.
