Well this is very serious problem for the old age people. They feel so much irritation because of this, and also feel very bad when their own children become fed-up from them.
Anyhow, about your question, so as you sad she is taking some high doze, so it is the most possible reason that, she is facing the hearing loss problem. Moreover at this age every body muscles and functions of the body become weak, and there working is affected. This is the declining age, bones become weak, and hearing problem is the most common. Mostly hearing problem occur because, old people take high medicine, because of any other physical disease, or hypertension or main the diabetes problem. So these high doze effect all the working of the body.

In some cases people loss their eye-sight, and many other problems. You can consult to a doctor for this problem, but again I would say that it's no use. They will give more medicines that will effect some other body parts. Yes I will suggest for the homeopathic medication. You must go for a homeopathic doctor.
