My Landlord Accepts Payment From Me Every Week To Catch Up On One Month Rent That I'm Behind. She Doesn't Want To Do That Anymore And Is Serving Me With Eviction Papers. Is That Legal?
In NC, is it legal for my landlord to file for eviction after telling me, 3 days after accepting a weekly payment for rent. (We had an agreement to pay weekly for rent. I'm one month behind. She suddenly stopped accepting one weekend and said she is going to file for eviction ( only 2 days verbal warning.)

The first question any lawyer will ask is whether you had a written agreement or not? This is most important thing in such cases. You can not prove anything without a written agreement. On the other hand, the fault is yours as you are one month behind the regular payment date. I would advise you to talk to the landlord to solve the matter.
