Building a new home you had two options to access the basement. You don't have to access it from out side you will use one of that steel door and a steel stairs. The steel door will be adjusted on top of the steel stairs; the door can not be easily being placed on one side of the hope due to the beauty of the home and its appearance. Be there you have to worry about that placing the steel door with the steel stairs it too expensive in terms of if you leave the steel doors uninstalled.

In most of the homes the bilco door are installed and they are very happy from and they don't use it much. But it is too easy for them to get some thing big in or out of the basement and as well the steel stairs help them a lot in moving heavy material up and down in those situations. While bringing refrigerator or patio furniture or some times snow blower in the basement the steel stairs are used, in every season.

Bilco door are not too much expensive and rated well along with the steel stairs. Most of the builders recommend bilco doors with the steel stairs towards the basement.
