You have done a lot of damage to your throat over the years. We all know smoking is bad for you but we still do it.My sister died from throat cancer last year (and i too still smoke) You really should see a Dr. as sometimes you can be cured if the stages of cancer has not gone to far.SEE THE DOCTOR

Talk about not doing the right thing; - I have asthma and have had since I was born as far as I know. I also have air borne allergies. And I smoked until 5 years ago. I am now 60+.

You would think that I would have quit long before I did. (??) My very good friend, also smoked - but quit 20+ years ago. No matter he got lung cancer last year and is now gone.

I think if you have symptoms like yours - you really should see a doctor and get checked out. You may be fine - or not. I have known people that smoked from their teens to their passing in their 80s. It seems we have little control over what might happen.

And yet the statistics do point to many things we can do - one of course being not smoking.

I wish you all the best and get to a doctor.
