    Shakespeare is one of the most prominent writers in the history of English language. He was a poet, actor and most notable a playwright. Due to his contributions, he has been given the title of Bard of Avon and National Poet of England.


    In his entire career, Shakespeare has written 38 plays, 154 sonnets and two long and narrative poems. His plays have a focus on a number of issues, most importantly from the society and politics of that time. His Plays can be categorized into three main categories. These are:


    - Historic plays
    - Tragedy Plays

    - Comedy plays.
