How Do You Find The Range Of Something In Mathematics?

Answer Question

Your range is your maximum number minus your minimum number in a set of numbers or data. That is one measure of range. Standard deviation is another.

To find the range you subtract the lowest number in the group from the highest number... For instance if you had the numbers 7,9,2,3,5,6,3,8,1 then you would subtract 1 from 9 and get 8... Your range would then be 8...
