A screen name refers to the online identity of people. It can be used as both the e-mail address of that person and their chat name. Most of the accounts offer the facility to have up to seven screen names. Some instructions have to be followed before getting a new screen name. Firstly one has to go to the screen name registration page and delete the previous one. Then fill in the new desired screen name in its place. It should be noted that the new name should have more than three letters but less than sixteen. Numbers would also be accepted. It should be different from the screen name and have more than 4 characters and less than sixteen. After that retype the password for verification. Then write down the display name and if your screen name is unique then it is accepted otherwise it is rejected and you would have to choose a different one until it is unique. Thus you can change your screen name.
