I Would Like To Start Listening To Classical Music, Any Suggestions?

Answer Question

There is such a wide range of music that you could start anywhere.  I started listening to hundreds of albums that belonged to a neighbour whilst looking for some suitable music for a theatre production and eventually I started buying my own.

Beethoven is a particularly good place to begin, perhaps you could get Fur Elise, that most recognised piece of piano music.  Piano in fact is a good place to begin, perhaps you should try some Chopin.   I am particularly fond of his mournful Nocturne for Violin and Piano.  It's possible to buy a Classical Chillout CD, which will introduce you to many different composers and types of classical music, but boxed sets of many tracks are also reasonably cheap, NAXOS produces a great range of budget CDs.

Perhaps a little more abstract is the work of Philip Glass, you could try the soundtrack to the film The Hours.
