You have to take him to the vet, there isn't any reason a pet should be bleeding for no reason, it could be that he ate something and it is obstructing his bowels, or has cut them somehow, and he would then be suffering. Hope this helps you out, good luck.

It is possible that your cat has a wound around the anus or rectum, has some mild colitis that is not producing diarrhea just blood, or the anal glands are impacted or infected. Anal glands are residual scent glands located at 4 and 8 o'clock around the anus; they release a small amount of smelly liquid when a cat defecates. Some cats do not release this liquid and the glands become impacted then infected.
Your cat needs to be examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause of bloody stool--this is not normal.
