Why Don't They Allow Printable Coupons At Their Grocery Store In Bakersfield,CA?

When WE go to their store they refuse computer printed coupon's. I think that stinks, and though we have been customers since thewy opened here, but the attitude they have about printable coupns is stupid. They cliam that people are printing fake coupons and useing them, but I doubt that there"s a gang of people running all over town trying to push fake grocery coupons. I would like to know the REAL reason they refuse them.

A lot of places are starting to refuse cupons printed off your home computer due to the outbreak of false cupons curculating.  Some stores now refuse them all together in order to be safe.  Right now there have been warnings of a false cupon curculating that is printed off a computer that scans at registers and passes all the test but is not genuine.  The company sent flyers and emails to all store to stop accepting that cupon because the company will not reinburse the retailer.  Working in retail I have seen many types of fake cupons as well as fake receipts.  Rather you like the answer or not that is the main reason.  Retailers do not want to loose out and not all cashiers will be able to recognize a real printed cupon from a fake.  Other reasons is that people can change certain numbers on a coupon in their favor rather it would be an experation date or a quantity number.
