Washington Irving was an American Author, Biographer, essay writer and historian from the 19th century.
The Tales of Alhambra is basically a collection of essays, verbal sketches and stories. This book was written on the information he collected while he was in Spain from 1826 to 1829. He met a lot of people there and a lot of things inspired him. He has written about all of them. So it would be difficult to give the names of all the people he mentioned in this book of essays. It is not a novel but a collection of his other works.
