    The North frigid zone is one of the five geographical zones of the globe. There are two frigid zones, one in the north and the other in the south. These zones are the coldest parts on the globe and are entirely covered with snow and ice. The areas included in the North frigid zone are Northern Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Northern Scandinavia, Northern Russia and the ice in the arctic ocean.
