The breast biopsy is advised after initial examination of breast, ultrasound and mammogram. It is advised if abnormality is suspected. The biopsy is the examination of the breast tissue. The tissue from the breast is taken by many methods depending upon the location and size of abnormality. It can be fine needle method, vacuum method, surgical incision or core needle method.
