Hey, We Are Trying To Buy A Dog But We Can't Decide. Any Suggestion?

Do you want a large dog? They generally live ten years. If you want a small dog, they generally live 15 years. I bred Shih-tzu's for 20 years. They are not good watch dogs but they love people. They want to be with people more that lay in a corner.

The most affectionate dogs i have ever had are the golden labrador. They have a great temperament and make terrific pets.

Well I must say I have a dachshund and he is very cute and fun to cuddle with, but he has a kinda mean personality. Dachshunds often have an attitude were they try to be mean and stand up to big dogs, which isn't good. But if your willing to put up with that, which isn't as bad as it seems, they would be a good choice. My other choice would be the mini husky because they are cute and east to play with!

I would suggest the boxer.  the other dogs  you mention are typically yappers.  though i do not know enough about the mini husky to advise on that breed.

I have a miniature dachshund that I got when she was 3 months old.  She is now two years and 3 months old.  She was the best decision I ever made.  She is extremely sweet and the only problem I have is some potty training issues.  Some people say its the breed but I think its my lack of consistency.  Easy maintenance as far as bathing and general care because she is so small, she only eats a 1/2 cup of food a day.
